MGI Launches New International Brand
Global accountancy association MGI has launched a fresh new brand identity as part of a strategic plan to move the organisation forward into the future.
The new brand identity features on the redesigned www.mgiworld.com website and will be rolled out across the worldwide association over the coming year. MGI UK and Ireland will be one of the first national associations involved, with a rebranded and redesigned website due to be launched shortly.
Founded in 1947, MGI has over 260 member offices in more than 77 countries, making it one of the largest associations of independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms in the world, providing business solutions locally, nationally and internationally.
MGI Chair, Andy Grout, an international partner at MGI Midgley Snelling, in Weybridge, Surrey, said: “Our new identity encapsulates the MGI ethos of global connections, bringing invaluable business benefits and solutions. It forms part of our dynamic drive to keep moving forward, as we continue to build and strengthen MGI into the future.”
The rebranding and redesigned website form part of MGI’s worldwide strategic plan, launched in November 2007 with the aim of providing MGI members with a keen competitive edge in the worldwide marketplace.
Other elements of the plan include the recent appointment of new executive director Clive Miéville, whose initial focus is to enhance networking opportunities to stimulate new business and build the membership base, particularly in Europe as a whole and Eastern Europe specifically.
