MGI Firms Strengthens Team with Partner Appointments
The founding firm of international accountancy association MGI has announced the appointment of two new partners.
MGI Midgley Snelling is pleased to announce that the firm welcomed Peter Bond and James Beecher to the partnership from 1 October 2008.
Peter Bond is a chartered tax adviser, whose early career was spent primarily advising on corporate tax issues and dealing with UK public quoted groups. In recent years, he has also worked extensively in advising on the tax affairs of non-domiciled individuals resident in the UK and overseas. His expertise covers a broad range of sectors.
James Beecher joined MGI Midgley Snelling from PWC in 2001. He advises individuals and companies in the UK and overseas on all aspects of audit, accountancy and tax matters and in particular on setting up of new operations in the UK.
The firm’s close involvement in the international association MGI also means that James has already developed close working relationships with many of MGI Midgley Snelling’s offices overseas.
MGI Midgley Snelling managing partner Robin Sewell said: “I am delighted to welcome Peter and James as partners. We are committed to providing a high quality, highly personal service to both our UK and overseas clients and the appointment of Peter and James as partners will further enhance our ability to deliver this service. This is an exciting time for MGI Midgley Snelling and we are looking forward to seeing the partnership develop even further”
MGI UK and Ireland chief executive officer Paul Winder said: “The contribution of our member firms is vital to the continuing development of MGI and we look forward to drawing on Peter and James’ skills and expertise as we continue to move the association forward.”
