International delegates head to Paris
Delegates from around the world will be gathering in Paris from 14 to 16 October, for the MGI annual general meeting. The meeting theme, ‘The Economic Crisis: Opportunity and Challenge’, will create a forum for in-depth discussions about the world as it is today and how MGI and its member firms can confront the challenges and maximise the opportunities created by current world developments.
Jeff Grout, listed as one of the 100 best business speakers in Britain, will be giving the keynote speech on ‘Leadership in Turbulent Times’. There will also be a presentation from John Alexander, of Carter Backer Winter on ‘The Early Warning Signs’, with advice on how to spot a client in financial difficulties.
The event is being hosted by FCN, one of the largest and oldest firms in the MGI association, which has already staged a number of conferences for the association in France. It will take place at the Lutetia Hotel, a prestigious venue right in the heart of the city.
As always, the meeting will also provide an opportunity for MGI members to meet, network and share ideas and information. All of the UK member firms are planning to send delegates and it looks like being another successful event.
