There was festive cheer at Rickard Keen, as the Essex-based firm staged two charity carol concerts in Basildon and Southend, raising £2,586.40 for local good causes. It has also continued to create new jobs during the recession by welcoming three new trainees – Phil Taylor and Steffanie Murdoch will be working in audit and accounts at the firm’s Southend office, while Rebecca Jones will be performing the same role in Basildon. There were also celebrations as Laura Carr and Rachel Kelleway completed the final stage of their ACA examinations, at the first attempt.

Watson Buckle continued its efforts to help local businesses to beat the recession by producing a new guide to ’50 Ways to Save Tax’, which is available now on the firm’s website.

Copsey Murray’s long-awaited website is now up and running at www.copseymurray.ie, with information about the firm and the services it provides, together with a live news feed, providing the latest information about the Irish economy.
