Marketing update
Targeting for new members continues in 2010 with a focus on attracting member firms from the North West, Wales, North East and Scotland regions.
Our campaign includes direct mail and digital marketing activities using the latest Overseas Aspects production and a letter to introduce HB&O and Milsted Langdon as new members to MGI. We also hope to be able to attract potential new members to the 2010 Annual Conference in November.
The website continues to be a supporting tool for new member targeting and we are constantly adding new email addresses to the prospect list.
The most recent statistics available showed the MGI UK website welcomed 308 visitors between May 22 and June 22 – with the average visitor staying for over two minutes and looking at four pages.
Over half (56.8 per cent) of sites came to us via search engines, with MGI featuring prominently on Google for accountancy-related searches. The remainder either navigated to the site directly (26.4 per cent) or followed a link from another website (20.8 per cent).
