Marketing update

Targeting for new members continues in 2010 with a focus on attracting member firms from the North West, Wales, North East and Scotland regions. 

Our campaign includes direct mail and digital marketing activities using the new MGI Global News and the recently completed web video.  We also hope to be able to attract potential new members to the 2010 Annual Conference in November.

The website continues to be a supporting tool for new member targeting and we are constantly adding new email addresses to the prospect list.

The most recent statistics available showed the MGI UK website welcomed 216 visitors between February 22 and March 24 – with the average visitor staying for over two minutes and looking at four pages.

Over half (52.8%) of sites came to us via search engines, with MGI featuring prominently on Google for accountancy-related searches. The remainder either navigated to the site directly (26.4%) or followed a link from another website (20.8%).

The website has recently seen some improvements with the inclusion of the MGI Global Newsletter and a new section outlining the specialist expertise of member firms.
