July’s marketing forum featured a presentation by Julian Feinstein of LDL on fee negotiation.
Everyone in the industry appreciates how hard it can be to get clients to agree a fair fee for work that has been done or is being planned. Julian presented a structure to enable members to get a better recovery for the work they do and to feel confident when dealing with clients over fee issues.
Since the presentation, a couple of firms have talked about running the seminar again for all their client-facing team members but, ironically, it may be that fee negotiation in dealing with the presentation company prevents this from going forward.
