Introducing CI Accounting

Since it was set up in 2004, Northumberland-based CI Accountancy, whose offices are in Warden, near Hexham, has expanded rapidly and won a number of awards, including Best Independent Accountancy Practice in the North East in 2008.

The firm is headed by Gary Killmister and Les Hare whose experience and contacts make them well-placed for anyone wanting to do business in the North East.

During the 90’s to 2004 Gary was an external tax consultant for sub-Saharan Africa to one of the global big four practices. His vast experience in tax, trust and estates and accountancy including forensic accounting provides a good foundation for the new practice, and since then it has gone from strength to strength mainly on personal recommendation. 

CI Accounting specialise in providing a full range of services for businesses and individuals in the area, including advice on starting a business, grant applications, raising finance, business plans and business development.Staff at the firm has grown from 4 to 13 in 6 years, each bringing their own brand of expertise and knowledge. At CI Accounting, the client’s needs are the main focus, ensuring that the services provided are always flexible and structured to meet clients’ needs. This is the key to their current success and was instrumental in the company winning an award for the best accountancy practice with 1-10 partners in the UK for 2008, these being at the AIA national awards.
