Looking forward to 2021: the MGI UK and Ireland annual conference

As we reported in the last newswire, we will be looking ten years into the future at our 2011 annual conference.

The conference, which will take place from 1-3 December at the Oatlands Park Hotel, Weybridge, Surrey, will have as its theme “The practice of 2021”.

As well as reviewing the last 12 months and looking ten years into the future, delegates will discuss issues including the impact of online services on compliance work, how recruitment and marketing may need to change to meet the challenges of 2021 and whether accountancy firms will become candidates for transformation in the same way that High Street opticians have been commoditised by big name chains. The conference is open to guests as well as to MGI members, particularly delegates from firms interested in joining the alliance and who would like the chance to network with existing members and learn more about the benefits of being part of MGI.
