New board members in place

MGI UK & Ireland’s board will be welcoming three new members when it holds its first meeting of 2012.

Following a vote by member firms, John Kinsella of Watson Buckle, Phil Ewing of HB&O and Roger Isaacs of Milsted Langdon have been elected to join existing board members Peter Winter of CBW, Bill Johnston of Seymour Taylor and Alan Worsdale of Rickard Keen. The new board will hold its first meeting on 9 February to review and update MGI UK & Ireland’s strategy so if you have any thoughts for the future, then please let Paul Winder or one of the board members know in advance.

As well as his position on our board, Peter is our new representative on the MGI International Committee, a position that provides an important conduit between our region and MGI globally.

The UK & Ireland board will be providing feedback for Peter to take to his first meeting in Kuala Lumpur in May but he represents all member firms, so please let him know if there are any matters you wish him to raise.

Paul Winder said: “I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of myself and all MGI UK & Ireland member firms, to thank our retiring board directors Robert Radford (Rowley’s), David Warren (Watson Buckle) and Robin Sewell (Midgley Snelling).

Robin, in particular, has worked tirelessly for the good of MGI over many years and has also represented MGI UK & Ireland on the International Committee.”
